Macbook Boot Slow
Ever wonder why your Macbook is running slow? There could be several reasons
- Macbook storage media is hosting by an old technology which is hard disk drive (HDD) instead of solid state drive (SSD). As compared to SSD, HDD has slower data reading and writing speed
- You have launched too many applications and did not close them completely meaning that the applications are still running at the background but just minimised
- Your storage capacity is mostly full, it is like carrying a full bag of stones
If you’re planning to upgrade your Macbook, leave it to us. However, if you wish to do something from current settings, here are the options
- Shut down and restart your Mac. It’s possible that your RAM has reached its limit if you haven’t restarted it in a while.
- Delete any unused files, applications, or other things that are taking up space, particularly if your Mac’s storage is less than 10% free.
- If a software issue is the source of the problem, update the software.
