Macbook Wifi Issues
There are some solutions you can use if you’re having trouble connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi is switched on. To switch on Wi-Fi, click the Wi-Fi status icon in the menu bar.
- It's possible that you're out of range. Ascertain that your Mac is connected to the wireless network.
- It's possible that the Wi-Fi service isn't included in Network preferences.
- If Wi-Fi isn't mentioned among the network access services, click the’+’ Add button at the bottom of the list, then select Wi-Fi from the Interface pop-up menu. After giving the Wi-Fi service a name, press Create.
- If you're using an AirPort base station to link to a wireless network, unplug the power cable and restart the system. After a few moments, reconnect the power cable. Reconnect after the network has become functional.
